Had an early trip up to Bollihope in search of more Ring Ouzels and found 2 new sites (for me) where they were and both pairs had young ones, however never got good photos of either of them. However at one of the sites there was a few Tree Pipits (and Meadow Pipits) around, and I did mange to get good photos of them.
Also I finally got a decent picture of a Wren. It seems mad that I have struggled to get a good photo of these but it has just been a bit of a bogey bird.
Down at Deepdale Beck at Barnard Castle, I found a young Dipper in its usual breeding area on the river and it posed obligingly. I think it was rather sleepy and it wasn't dipping like a dipper dips.
